The higher the income, the fewer the family’s children will be born, and vice versa. In this context, we address the importance of entertainment and their impact on fertility levels, so we find that car ownership and domestic labor affect the fertility level and trends of the husband and wife. تؤثر الخصائص الاقتصادية لسكان مدينة حائل في النمو السكاني، فمن ناحية نجد أن ملكية المسكن من حيث الإيجار أو التملك تؤثر في مستوى خصوبة الزوجات، ومن ناحية أخرى تمتلك غالبية الأسر في مدينة حائل المسكن الخاص بها، وما يعادل 45.5%) من السكان يقيمون في فلل خاصة، ويسكن (23.6%) في شقق خاصة ونجد أن قاطني البيوت الشعبية الأعلي في متوسط عدد الابناء بالنسبة لسكان الفلل، ونسبة (68.7%) من سكان حائل يقيمون في منازل مكونة من دورين، بينما (31.3%) يقيمون في منازل مكونة من دور واحد والتي ترتفع فيها مستوى الخصوبة لأزواج والزوجات، كذلك تؤثر عدد غرف البيت في مستويات الخصوبة من حيث درجة التزاحم في البيت، ويتضح تأثير الناحية الاقتصادية بشكل بارز في مهنة الزوج والزوجة والدخل الشهري لهما علي مستوى الخصوبة بشكل كبير فكلما ارتفع الدخل قل عدد مواليد الأسرة والعكس صحيح تماما وفي إطار ذلك نتطرق لأهمية وسائل الترفيه وتأثيرها علي مستويات الخصوبة فنجد أن ملكية السيارات والعمالة المنزلية تؤثر في مستوى الخصوبة واتجاهاتها للزوج والزوجة. الكلمات المفتاحية: الخصائص الاقتصادية للخصوبة – منطقة حائل – النمو السكاني.
